About Me
Hello, I'm Nadia Mukith. Iām a person-centred counsellor with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Alongside my private practice I currently work with young people aged 13 to 25 at a Young persons charity and as a school counsellor in a high school and sixth form. Within these roles I support clients through a wide range of challenges including anxiety, low self-esteem, identity, relationships, and academic or life transitions.
My counselling style is rooted in the person-centred approach. I believe that with the right support and in the right conditions, every individual has the capacity for growth and healing, and to be the best version of themselves they can be. At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.
Prior to working with young people, I supported women at a women's centre, helping clients navigate difficult experiences such as domestic abuse, trauma, and relational difficulties.
Outside of counselling, I enjoy reading, cooking, travelling, and creative activities, which help keep me grounded and inspired in my work.
